A great and awesome bud up in Canada offer his help in getting me the content in this Package and am truly appreciate it, will be in his debt. An exchanged of few emails, Pm's and couple of weeks later, this package arrived at my doorsteps.

Its non other then the Hot Wheels Customs DD from the HW shop. [ Customs DD ] Not only my bud sent me 2 of the Customs DD ( one to open and one to keep in carded), he also put in another DD which is the Sweet Ride's Tootsie Roll. A variation which is from the single carded while my other is from the Box-set.

Be known that there are 3 difference carded design for this HW Customs and the one i have are the "Just for You" design. A look at the front and back of the packaging. Will feature an out of packing post of this DD soon. Cheers.

It's official, this is the 1/24 scale Monster Jam series featuring the Special Delivery (Diary Delivery) and from whats in the description on those online site, they might be limited runs on them too. How true will that be, time will tell, for now let enjoy the pics.

Already start searching for this online and so far its kinda pricey plus shipping. Hopefully will find one that is within my reasonable budget. Would looks awesome display together with the 1/64 scale version of the same tempo. cheers

2011 MEXICO Convention

Hotwheels 2011 Mexico Convention that was held on the 9th -11th Sept 2011 in Mexico City saw the releases of some Dairy Delivery products. There are both official and Code 3 Dairy Delivery made for this Conventions and all are produced in limited quantities.

Official sneak peek saw a Golden Chrome Dairy with Gold flames tempos on both sides and roof of the DD. Also at the sides and back of the DD, the 2011 Mexico convention logo. Die-cast body and chassis with real riders, very nicely done.

Limited only to 4000 pieces this official 2011 Hot Wheels Mexico Convention DD is a must have for all DD collectors. Prices for each is going for $30 during convention and pre-sale. Mine is on the way and will post more in future posting. Cheers.

HERSHEYS- Nostalgia series

After the 1st wave release from the Nostalgia Series featuring MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE: He-MAN (MOTU) theme, next theme that have the Dairy Delivery would be the Chocolate Hershey's theme that would be release in NOV/DEC 2011. The DD would spot a 'York Peppermint" brand and comes in a Pearl White body with Real Rider tires.

To me, it looks very plain for a DD, all those spaces unmark by deco and such. Only the 'YORK" logo on both sides and back and that about it. What do you all think about this?

SDCC Franken Berry DD

2011 SDCC (San Diego Comic Con) has come and gone. It was held on the 21^st -24^THJuly and with it comes offering of exclusive release specially made for this convention’s attendee. Hot Wheels Mattel also got itself involved in the show and one of the offering on that show is what this post is all about. The SDCC –Franken Berry Dairy Delivery. Franken Berry is a cereal brand name by General Mills, which also offer others cereal brand in the market. Franken Berry is (u guess it) a Frankenstein that like to eat Berry cereal. My Purchase of this SDCC DD was done a few month before the event as soon as news and photo of it was release officially by Mattel Hot Wheels. As a DD collector, I knew then that I had to get my hand on this lovin’ looking DD.

My package arrived faster than I anticipated, was expecting it to come in on mid august but was glad it made it safe to my hand. The box was a bit dented but this is expected from packages coming from overseas and the box quality they were in it. Open up and found the nice looking hard cardboard box with the wording “FRANKEN BERRY” in there. 1 word, “Awesome”!

Since it was a DD and it is a SDCC release I know I had to get not just 1 for my collections but 2. So yup, there’re 2 of them in the packages. This is my 1^st time buying SDCC and I wasn’t sure what to expect when the package arrived and now, am glad I had gotten them,

After opening the outer box, came the actual product nicely wrap up in soft butter paper. Can wait to get the wrapper off the box but had to do it slowly without damaging it.

The front and side view of the packaging, it’s a mini cereal box that looks exactly like the real thing. Very nicely done and very creative.

This is it, the reveal of the Franken berry DD in the window box. Flip open the front flaps and on right side is the DD in PINK and White and what more, shake the box and you’ll discover more then just the DD. There the cereal sound in there and the sound are made from extra wheels put in the box package.

Up close photo of the Frakan Berry DD. Featuring Frakan character on the side holding balloons, Its pink and white color scheme with 2 stripes on the roof. The DD comes in metal body chassis and metal base and with a brand new Real Rider (rubber) wheels. This is also a 1^st official DD which is in PINK color and its really looks amazing.

NOSTALGIA : Master Of the Universe

Mattel recently announced a new series that will release in Aug 2011 and that it will be called Nostalgia series with 4 sub-series theme with each having 8-10 casting in it. The series will spot metal body and metal chassis with real rider wheels.

The 1st of the sub-series theme which is MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE (MOTU) has just been release since last week and in it a Dairy Delivery. "click pic for larger size"

The packaging above which is clearly stated MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE, awesome graphic on card, there will be 2 difference card graphic, 4 casting will feature Skeletor with Panthor while the other 4 casting will feature He-Man with BattleCat. When combine will form a battle scene. Back of card shown the rest of the casting in the MOTU series. Card size is bigger then your normal average mainline carded, its equal to Ultra Hots series sizes.

Open up the blister card and release the DD.. Its Awesome and Heavy! i like. Featuring Silver metal flake body paint, with Skeletor on both sides of the Dairy, sadly no graphic on its roof. Painted front grill and front head light and signal light.

Painted rear light with "SKLTR" Skeletor license plate, very small, cant read the fine print above. Awesome piece to be added to any DD collector out there Cheers.

This year SDCC (San Diego Comic Con) which will be held on 21-24 July 2011 will feature a limited Edition Mattel's Hot Wheels Dairy Delivery which is called the "FRANKEN BERRY DD". Look at the pics and be mesmerizes with it on both the DD and the Packaging. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

2010 Diecast Hall of Fame at Las Vegas Super Convention that was held on 18-21 February and a Diecast Space.com customs by MIQ Willmott and Chris Walker. This crimson red DD is only 75pcs made and sold at the conventions at $80 a piece. This is a 2nd release after the SOLD OUT release of the 1st Dairy in Black which is also a 75pcs limited run.

The packaging is simple with a backing card and DD in a protecto smaller in size then the regular protecto for normal Hot Wheels cards.

Real Rider Firestone tyres, painted headlight and with MIQ graphic on sides and top of the Dairy, Red body with clear window and with white interior

Nothing special about the rear view cept that the painted rear light.

Overall its money well spent....

Slick Ride Open UP

Got a chance to open up a slick rides 2nd color Dairy today and am feeling good. Wondering when the 3rd color will show up and if it be in single carded or in a boxset. Slowly cut open the blister with a cutting blade from one side to another thru the bottom.

Looking great like the black DD from last year Larry's Garage series, just that this is not matte black.

The Mooneyes Dairy delivery was release in a special limited series called the AFFINITY Special Delivery way way back in 2004. As you can see from the photo, there are 2 version of it being release. One a white top and the others a yellow top, both with Mooneyes logo on sides. I read it somewhere that the Yellow Top was more harder to find as its limited number is lesser then the white top.

The 1st ever Canada Convention recently also saw the release of a DAIRY DELIVERY by Liberty Promotion for DIECASTSPACE. The limited edition Red and White DD is limited to 300 pcs only. While the Red andBlack DD is limited to only 25 pcs.

Greetings, sharing some new addition DD to my collections. Got them at a decent price too and i hope they are genuine release.

2. Dark Green with poker cards tempo from Redline Poker Club 2009 (The graphic on this is not very sharp and blur)
3. Black with 2009 HOTLANTA /DiecastSpace.com tempo
4. Orange/red with flame and with 2009 HOTLANTA/DiecastSpace.com tempo.

Overall a great addition to my collections, hope to find more conventions cars with decent price. Cheers.

Slick Ride 2nd color

2010 Delivery Slick Rides series have now reach its 2nd color release and within case 'Q', saw the Dairy Delivery 2nd color release. Each case comes with 2 Black DD and if you are lucky enough, you may find 3 of them in the case. The black version do looks Awesome and the tires are with FIRESTONE brand.

Larry's Garage DD complete

Finally, i've complete all the DD from 2009 Larry's Garage series. Took me 1 year to do it as they were hard to come by then. A total of 6 Dairy Delivery was release thru Larry's Garage series and with 3 difference tempo on it.

The initial series had 4 color variations to the "AUTO PARTS" tempo with 2 tones color body scheme. 1st release was the most common, the Grey top/Purple bottom. Follow with White top/Cyan bottom, then the most favorite is the Dark Gray top / Black bottom. Lastly the hard to find last color variation is the Black top / yellow bottom variations.

Year end of 2009 saw the release of LARRY'S GARAGE HOLIDAY MIX with new tempo that reflects the Christmas Holiday. The DD in this release have a "NORTH POLE" tempo and also with 2 tones color body of White top / Sparkling Metallic Magenta bottom.

Lastly the last piece to complete my Larry series is the exclusive Larry's Garage 21 piece Box set. The DD in this box-set is with Blue top/white bottom and also with a new tempo of "Larry's Dairy" to it.

ED! Dairy SOLD OUT!

Before the opening time at 10am, the queue to the Automobile Driving Museum at El Segundo CA on the 5th June can be seen as early as 5.30 am in the morning. The reason behind is the event being held on that day, the "The Car People For Education’s 3rd Annual Benefit Cat Show benefits the El Segundo Education Foundation". A charity event in which a limited edition Dairy Delivery will be offer for sale.

The Dairy delivery will be sold at $20 a piece, with just a limited of 500 pieces. Collector country wide has drove up to the event to get them and in less then an hour, all was sold out. Some still in line are frustrated that they can't get any as the early bird in line buy up to 10-20 pieces (limit at initial) at one time.

The organizer was overwhelm with people wanting the Dairy that they later set a limit of 5 piece per person but it was already too late as the Dairy was running on low stock. With the sold out of the dairy, lots of people turn away from the event and didn't buy the entry tickets to it. Guess the organizer didn't know how popular the Dairy casting is and didn't made more then the 500 pieces.

Pics of the ED Dairy from the event start showing up on Ebay later that day with a whopping price of $70-80 a piece. Talk bout charity, guess those guys buying up 10-20 to be put on Ebay wants some charity themselves too.

What's new on DD - ED DD

Mattle has announced a collectible Dairy Delivery which will be offered at a charity show! The show is call The Car People For Education’s 3rd Annual Benefit Cat Show benefits the El Segundo Education Foundation. Show detail is as follow below.

This special Dairy Delivery is limited to no more than 500 pieces, and features metalflake green finish, white and yellow flame deco, and the El Segundo Education Foundation “Ed!” logo. The only way to get your hands on this DD is to attend the show, where they will be available for sale.

Since 68 - Tin set

Hot Wheels releases a four's 4-car pack SINCE 68 limited edition tin set 2 years back when they started the series. One of the first tin set releases was call the 'ORIGINAL' . In this Original tin set releases contain 4 special limited edition repaint of casting with the same deco as those in single carded. One of the casting in this set is the DAIRY DELIVERY.

The Dairy Delivery spot the 2nd deco from Since 68 series which is the Wave deco with Hot Wheels wording on it. Its in Magenta color whereas the single carded is silver in color. The set is not that hard to find but it is slowly disappearing from retail or online store.

I'll probably try to get a loose for display if i can't find another decent price set itself. Until then this remain as is and unopen.

Ubber Madness - Monster Jam

2010 Monster Jam series debut with some very interesting NEW casting!. One of them is the DAIRY DELIVERY which come under the "Originals" series and with an "Ubber Madness" tempo. SWEET!

This "Ubber Madness" comes in Green body with green/yellow flame on roof top, sides with large laughing cow and small "Ubber Madness" on it. Back also spot an "Ubber Madness" tag line.

In this Monster Jam release which is also called the Flag series, came with an additional mini flag which is made from fabric material. The flag also spot the same "Ubber Madness" tag with green background and minus the cow graphic.

The new DD casting made for the Monster Jam series is difference then the regular DD casting in which the width is smaller. Both have the same height and length but difference width as see in the front / back view. I guess this is because of the design for the base in the monster jam series.

There will be a 2nd variation to this Ubber Madness which is the reverse graphic size for the cow tempo and "Ubber Madness" word. Large "Ubber Madness" with small laughing cow tempo.

Back packaging from the new 2010 series feature the new Ubber Madness and other.

MOO MOO, u know how it is with the Dairy Delivery associated with Milk and Cow. Well recently i've found a very interesting collectible call BearBrick from MedicomCorp. And in series 12 of BearBrick, there a Bear with the design of a Cow and without thinking twice, i bought it just to display with my DD with cow spot. Enjoy the pic.

2010 - Slick Rides Delivery Series

The much anticipated Delivery Series for 2010 has arrived in the US Market. SLICK RIDES Delivery series has been release in the States with its case A, B, C and D as of this posting. Featuring "FIRESTONE" brand name for this Dairy Delivery casting and is the 1st color release.

Also sporting real rider tires with "Firestone" brand name on it as well. Awesome release with both metal body and base. What are you guys waiting for, go get em all.

DD Customs - Transformers Bumblebee

The year 2009 saw the sequel release of the Transformers with "Return of the FALLEN". The year 2009 also saw the release of BoxMan's Custom featuring Bumblebee in the DAIRY DELIVERY casting. Not only the Dairy was a customs, the overall packaging also was customized with TRANSFORMERS logo and bumblebee names on it. Also, a very well design Dairy Delivery bumblebee in robot mode on the packaging. Simply awesome piece of artwork that u can expect from the BoxMan's Customs.

The Bumblebee Dairy delivery spots a bumblebee yellow body color. The yellow used is not from the live-action movie yellow but the classic animated TV series yellow and with black stripe from engine hood to roof which is from the movie. Clear window and chrome base. Also feature real riders tires.

Autobots logo on both sides of door and "Transformers" word at side. The customs feature a very nice and realistic design that looks like the body has peeling effect and show what underneath the outer layer. Sort of like a "Battle Damage" of Bumblebee. Lastly, the back reads "MORE THEN MEETS THE EYE... " Truly an awesome piece of work there.

Malaysia 20-Car Gift Set

Back in 2003, Mattel challenged their three manufacturing factories to design a special 20-car theme pack using castings that they had available. Jumping at the chance to showcase their strengths and talents, the factories eagerly accepted the task with care and dedication. The Malaysia 20-Car Gift Set was the result from Mattel Malaysia Sdn Bhd (MMSB), which is located in the state of Penang, Malaysia (also known as the "Pearl of the Orient"). The factory began operation in 1981, and it has produced over two billion cars since then!

Along with 18 cars from the 2003 stable, the Dairy Delivery® and the Fandango® feature exclusive decorations available only in this collection! The 20-Car Gift Set of Hot Wheels® cars also features handsome, foldout packaging.

2009 - 2nd Annual SUMMER SMASH - Platinum

Another DD color variation for the 2nd Annual Summer Smash which was held at Warwick, Rhode Island on 27-30 August 2009. Featuring the same design as the yellow color version in my previous posting.

This Platinum Dairy Delivery is Exclusive pewter painted with bright metallic flakes and it makes this a true collectible. Come with red line real rider wheels.

Only 2 pieces was available for the Summer Smash Charity Auction ("Made-A-Wish foundation") Donated and decorated by Vince "Vman" Mosely

2009 - 2nd Annual SUMMER SMASH

2nd Annual Summer Smash which was held in Warwick, Rhode Island on 27-30 August 2009. This is a partnership event between Rhode Island Hot wheels Club and Mattel to raise $20, 000 for the "Made-A-Wish Foundation"

This Yellow Dairy Delivery Summer Smash was design by Vince (Vman) Mosely.
Only 23 pieces was available for sale during the event.

2009 - Modified Rides (all colors)

Ebay's package arrived over the weekend and with it bring me the last and final color for 2009 Modified Rides' Dairy Delivery, the Silver anodized DD which is the K-mark edition. Behold all 3 color variations as shown below.

A little something difference with the new K-mark silver DD card graphics is that the DD is shrink to a smaller scale as compared to its predecessor. I think this is because there are some collectors that want to collect the card graphic and since both the green and yellow DD graphic is large and below the plastic blister, its kinda hard to have the card undamaged while opening the blister. Mattel did a good job here by making the graphic smaller and above the plastic blisters to allow undamaged graphic cards for card collectors.

Close up pics on all 3 color variations. From my view, my favorite would be the Silver follow by green and lastly the yellow. Overall great tempo and tagline, the "REDLINE RACING". This wrap up the 2009 Modified Rides series, hope there be more DD for 2010 in the mainline.

2009 - Modified Rides (K-day)

News is out that the 3rd recolor for this year Basic line's Modified Rides team series Dairy Delivery to be Anodized Silver color. Sadly this is the K-day collectors day event special color and wont be available internationally, only to the K-mart store in the US. November 7th 2009 is the day of release, mark it down in your calender.

The 3rd recolor of the Modifies Rides series spots :

Grey plastic base
Red PR5 wheels
Red window
Maroon Interior (Possible?)
Tattoo pattern on roof
"Redline Racing" and Hot Wheels logo tempo on sides

Really cant wait to get my hands on this, possibly multiple of it, the silver body and red windows is a nice combinations plus the red pr5 wheels made it an added bonus. DD fans, don't let this slip pass.

2009 - 1:87 / HO (Since 68's Dairy Delivery)

In early 2009, Mattel release a brand new series called the 1:87 / HO line. This series consist of many popular casting in its 1:87 scale and with real rider wheels. Each casting come in with an acrylic box casing with a black base for display or easy storing. Although its in the 1:87 scale, it is highly detail.

Only one Dairy Delivery was release in this series and its resemble the SINCE 68 black Dairy with orange/red flames and the Hot wheels logo. Feature an all 2-piece wheels with real riders, yellow windows.

Yes!, the much anticipated 2009 MODIFIED RIDES series featuring the DAIRY DELIVERY casting has been release. Initial finding on this is in EBAY.COM right now. Can't wait till collectors finding them on pegs.

The blister card art on the DD is awesome. Just wish that the actual front grille and headlight is painted according to the cards shown to bring out the detail.

2009 Basic Cars line will release a DAIRY DELIVERY casting in the Modified Rides Team Series. Release date unknown as of this posting. Photo already available at HWC.com Check it out.

Why do you collect the DAIRY DELIVERY?

I started collecting Hot wheels (HW) in 2006 and my 1st Dairy Delivery is the 2006 Treasure Hunt (TH). I was totally taken back on the design and tampo on the TH series and from there onwards i slowly focus my collections on the DD casting. What i like most about DD is that, there are so many of them with awesome tampo, that is because the DD have a great large area for great tampo to apply on. My favorites DD so far is the 2005 Japan Custom Show DD. I like to have loose DD for my collections as you can see all the sides of the DD and admire them and touch them.

Currently i've about 40 loose DD of various series and about 30 plus DD on packaging. Hope to collect as many DD as possible and hope other DD collectors would share their view on DD collectings.
